The idea of the ProperPuck came to me after my oldest son scored his first goal.

Coach saved the puck and did what we have all seen before. He wrapped tape around the edge, signed the date and labeled it “First Goal”.

While this is common even amongst the greatest NHL players; for their First Professional Goal, Hat-Tricks, etc. I knew, as a Welder, I could create a puck these kids would keep with them for a lifetime. I can see them bringing their puck to the office someday. Proudly placing it on their desk, a nice conversation piece with co-workers. Their kids will stare at it and think of how cool it must have been to get one. Someday they may even pass it on. Stay tuned for what our next Proper Product is going to be…
